Soldier of the Month for January/February 2019: Meet Britnie

Enter to be the next Soldier of the Month here!

On January 25, 2019, the Backstreet Boys fandom forever changed with the release of the boys’ 10th album, “DNA.” Along with “DNA” came twelve new songs for us to learn (15 if you got the Japanese release!).

For Britnie Saporito from Pennsylvania, she had a plan on how to celebrate the release of “DNA.”

Before the release of the album, Britnie said she planned to spend the day blasting “DNA” with her four-year-old son.

“It’s bittersweet to watch him sing along with the Backstreet Boys’ songs, especially ‘Don’t Go Breaking My Heart’.”

So, did Britnie spend the day listening to the CD, but ended up buying another copy just to have.

“I purchased the CD the day it came out,” she said. “I got a CD in the mail, but I had to have the digital copy the day it came out. I blasted the new CD at home at least six times in a row! I think it’s their best album they have made. Every song is great!”

But if she had to pick one of the new songs that the boys had to perform on the DNA World Tour this summer, which would it be?

“The whole album,” she joked. “If I had to pick one song, it would definitely be ‘Chateau’.”
