Maybe if we werent taken for a ride in the presales we would have a bit more faith in the fanclub. Incidentally - still no news on the mexico tickets - anyone want to buy my tickets??? I will have a much better chance getting decent seats on the day than
with the presale - take note!
ok. so i have bought VIP upgrade thing from ground ctrl for vienna VA show(Aug. 18) and i haven't heard from them...is that mean that was a scheme?? i got the concert ticket itself, but haven't heard anything about soundcheck thing...
Please don't diss Marcus. Marcus is good for the boys. And he is good for the fans. He took care of my daughter when she was out and about during the concerts and he took care of me (a 50 year old mom) when we were dehydrated and ready to die during the up close and personal tour in DC. I love Marcus. He is good for the boys -- he takes care of the fans --
Once again I am asking here - if you don't know Marcus don't diss him. He does nothing to hurt anyone. I know him and like him and he has never given me a soundcheck entrance. But I like to talk to him at the hotel or waiting for the boys. Marcus has taken care of fans when it was needed.
And honestly, in any band there is going to be a boyguard who has more interaction with the fans. This is just not the boys.
It took me over 30 concerts and many years to finally meet the boys and I only met them while they were taking a hiatus (Kev and Brian in Kentucky, Howie in FL, Nick at s Wango Tango singing with his brother, and AJ somewhere else). So please take heart and remember that they their fans. The problem is more so that their schedule for some of these days is insane and that gives them no room to stay for an overnight or anything else. It is when they run in and out of concert cities that it harder to get to see them outside of the venue.
Got to love them boys!!!!!
I know people who got in that didn't purchase viptickets, so there are always ways to get in. Also Marcus lets people in who he "likes". It's not fair to those who pay a lot of money for it (like I did) ,but that kind of things happen unfortunately.

I have to go to the VIP Upgrade!!! I have all the money saved! It was cheaper and more convenient for me to go to Victoria rather than Vancouver! and I know everyone on the Vancouver Island was thinking the same thing... expecting to be able to buy a VIP Upgrade. I wish they would have said that VIP upgrades wouldn't be sold in Victoria, because I would've gone to the concert in Vancouver then!
