Nick’s tweet says it all. As we all struggle to enter back into reality, let’s revisit 16 unforgettable moments that made the 2016 the most epic to date. 

1. Nick dressed up as a girl. Again. Complete with a bra and everything. During ‘A Night at the Cinema’ Nick emerged dressed as Princess Leia. I’m really starting to question if he’s picking the short straw every time, or if he’s secretly enjoying it.

2. Acoustic Concert. It’s hard to capture the full amazingness of this concert in just one bullet. There was so much emotion – from both the fans and the boys. Heck, I counted at least 3 times that the boys got choked up (and I’m only counting Kevin once!) There was just something poetic hearing songs they haven’t performed in over 20 years and everyone in the room felt it.

3. Sailor outfits. We may sometimes get sick of hearing I Want it That Way, but we will NEVER get sick of the boys in sailors outfit. The best part is that we got to see them in these outfits for the sail away party AND for the meet & greet. More of this in the future, please and thank you – signed all BSB fans

4. Speaking of sexy outfits, fans were treated to the Backstreet Boys looking dapper as ever in their Casino Royale suits. Another thing fans will never get sick of – BSB in suits.

5. We broke a Guinness world record! Santa delivered our Christmas present early this year, and boy did he come through. We got not 1, but 2 Backstreet Boys in a hot tub!! Nick, AJ, and 28 lucky fans got cozied up to beat the Guinness World Record for most nationalities in a hot tub at a time.

6. Eddie Murphy. Those of you who unfortunately weren’t on the cruise may be scratching your head on this one. YouTube this immediately and you’ll thank me later. During the game show, there was a classic Howie moment. With every cruise new inside jokes emerge, and this year, it was all about Eddie Murphy.

7. AJ – Naked, but not in the way you think. AJ debuted music from his new solo album titled ‘Naked’, slated to drop in September. He performed several songs including ‘Sex’, ‘Naked’, and ‘Get on It’ to name a few.  In case you missed it, I think the titles of these songs say it all…

8. The Boys let out some juicy info during the Behind the Scenes Q&A event. For starters - we learned how the boys keep it spicy with their wives while on the road. What they’ve done to cause them to sleep in the guest bedroom. And even who has the biggest package. Yup, you read that correctly.

9. In the spirit of Oprah – ‘You get a selfie. You get a selfie. Everyone gets a selfie!’ Honestly though, the boys get better and better every cruise making sure as many fans as possible have the opportunity to get some quick 1x1 time and get a pic. And the best part is, there are some seriously amazing photo opps with boys all decked out in their theme outfits.

10. One night at 3am, fans were treated with AJ’s raspy voice coming through the ships intercom system leaving fans with these exact words, “Good night. Sleep tight. And don’t let the Backstreet Boys bite!” Now how on earth are we supposed to ever get any sleep with those words lingering in our brains??

11. Kevin performing killer duets with some amazingly talented fans. He even took us way back to his Aladdin days and sang, ‘A Whole New World’ which combined 2 loves – Disney and the Backstreet Boys!

12. Howie drinking…okay so this is pretty common place with Howie, but we still loved it and he was generous enough to share by pouring shots directly in fans mouths. Oh my!

13. Fans also got a sneak peak of Nick’s movie, Dead 7. My personal favorite moment was during the Q&A when Nick revealed he has another movie idea inspired by the cruise. Check this out. Nick’s said it’s a fantasy movie where a fan kidnaps one of the Backstreet Boys, “Let’s just choose Howie.” Then the fan supposedly tortures Howie and the rest of the group hires someone like Liam Neeson to save him. Meanwhile, the rest of the group is debating “whether or not they even care” to save him as they try to find a replacement for Howie to continue their tour.

I can’t make this up, folks!! The things that come out of Nick Carter’s mouth…

14. Brian fed a few lucky fans omelets, prepared specially by him, which I’m sure tasted extra amazing. I mean, how could it not if Brian made it??

15. AJ jumped in the freakin’ pool…With all of his clothes on. Don’t worry though, he was very careful to make sure he removed his sneakers. Can you imagine if he got one of his hundreds of pairs of precious sneakers ruined? I suppose that’d be like us ruining one of our many Backstreet Boys posters. Perish the thought!

16. 50 shades of Backstreet. I have to end on this note because my head is still spinning over what went down that night. Did anyone else think Nick was just a little too good at acting the role of Mr. Grey??
