5 Things You Can Only Experience on the Backstreet Boys Cruise
A Backstreet Boys cruise is nothing like going to see the Backstreet Boys in concert. During a concert, you see them pop out on stage, dance, sing, make a few jokes, interact with the crowd and wave before disappearing in the stage fog.
Not so much on the Backstreet Boys cruise.
You can literally run into them, or at least one of them, at every corner. You can run into them coming out of the bathroom. You can see them wandering down the hallway at 4 a.m. when you’ve both forgot where your cabin is. You can even run into them at the pizza bar at 5 a.m. after the deck party.
The cruise is nothing but days of fun on end. But while the European cruise is going to be a little different with days free to explore France and Italy, there will still be so much more Backstreet to do at night, along with a day free at sea for all kinds of activities and things that we have never imagined we would ever see.
Here are five things that you can only experience on a Backstreet Boys cruise.
1. DRESSES AND TAILS
See your favorite Backstreet Boy dressed as your all-time favorite movie character, or just dress like a girl in general. The Backstreet Boys cruise is the only place that you will ever really get to see the boys dress up like this. Plus, where else can you see Brian dressed as the Cowardly Lion and chasing his own tail?

2. DANCE WITH YOUR FAVORITE BACKSTREET BOY
Where else can you dance with your favorite Backstreet Boy? Yes, it could happen at an after party but those are always so crowded. You could get lucky enough to do the cha-cha with Nick or be brought on stage to showcase your killer theme night outfit and get a sneaky dance with your favorite boy.

3. PARTY WITH SPHYNKTER
During the 2011 cruise, fans were treated with something that we had only seen in video before - Sphynkter. The Backstreet Boys dressed up as our favorite hair band for ‘80s night and some fans have been begging for a reunion since Kevin is back with the band. Where else will you see the boys have make-up applied better than you wear your own?

4. LEARN NEW THINGS
When Kevin Richardson showed up on the 2011 cruise, the boys basically teased that he was coming back to the group. If you saw him on Prom Night, you could see the look in his eyes that he missed experiencing being around fans. That is something you can only really get on the cruise. Sure, fans in Los Angeles were lucky a few times to see him pop on stage during a song, but fans on the 2011 cruise pretty much witnessed his unofficial comeback.

5. SPECIAL CONCERTS
In 2010 and 2013, the Backstreet Boys performed their “This Is Us” and “In A World Like This” concerts, but in 2011 and 2014, the boys went to the fans to find out what they wanted to hear. Fans got to hear songs that the boys hadn’t performed in years such as “Just to Be Close” and “Hey Mr. DJ” in 2014, but in 2011, the boys performed a song that they had never performed before - “If You Want It To Be Good Girl (Get Yourself A Bad Boy).”
Where else can you hear that live? Not on tour! Only on the Backstreet Boys cruise!
