actually i think they said sc would only be at those venues that were having vips. i dont know the whole thing is weird?
kristy let me put this into our perspective for you: say you were living in Edmonton, you go on this site and you get told that you have a shot at getting VIP's for the show, you wait a week, then on Wednesday you log on 5 minutes before and find out that you WON'T be getting them. since you've been a fan for x-number of years and attending x-number of shows, wouldn't you be a little pissed that you were only notified a few minutes before that you won't be getting them?
admin - I get it. I know the guys would go door to door and meet the fans if they could, we're (at least I'm) not blaming them. It's simply a disappointment with the wording of the e-mail and posts that the "rest" of the tour would have VIPs available. In the grand scheme of things this isn't a huge deal, but we're reacting with frustration right now. It'll pass, keep up the good work.
@Marren - Everything is limited, tickets, merch, etc. When it sells out thats that. The fan club gives you access to them but promises nothing if you read the terms of use it is simply a community.
So for those of us that are coming from across the pond for a few shows, I'm presuming there'll still be sc competitons to enter, seeing as there's no vip for the gigs we're going too??

That is FINE! But like we are all saying if they weren't going to do them then we should have been informed that our cities were NOT included. That is not a lot to ask. Is it?
Kristy, let me put it into perspective for you: 1. I DID read the forum posts but no questions about my show were ever answered. You can't possibly expect me to jump to a conclusion about one show because of what happened with another. 2. The e-mail sent out last week said that VIPs for the rest of the tour... a little misleading since there were several dates that did not get VIPs. 3. I've been a fan club member for 3 years, waiting for the chance to buy presale (not VIPs) which were not offered for my show either. 4. No one is trying to ruin anything for anyone. 5. Everyone has their opinion - deal with it.
Obviously people didn't know that VIP was exclusive to only 3-40 people max. What was advertised was sign up for the fanclub so you can get access to VIP tickets. No one was told that it was limited access. I was under the impression that if I signed up for the fanclub that I could buy a VIP ticket.. isn't that the whole point of a fanclub? to get exclusive offers. That's the whole reason why I signed up.
I'm not blaming the band. I love them. I know it's not their fault that us, fans, weren't informed that some venues didn't have VIPs or that VIPs are limited to only 40 people at max.
