I think that the backstreet boys have helped me every day of my life, not only in this quarantine since I was 13 years old, I have been a fan of them and they always send a positive and loving message to everyone and in this 19 covid pandemic they keep us at home super active, happy and driving us to take care of ourselves and those around us.

I’m an essential worker during this crisis, I work in a grocery store 5 out of 7 days. When I feel overwhelmed and defeated there’s always a Backstreet Boys song that plays on the radio. Instantly I calm down, and feel relaxed and happy. It’s not easy when you are putting your own health at risk to insure everyone’s safety that shops. On the two days I don’t work, I stay home listening to the boys, talking via text, chat or live stream with other fans.

After going to BSB concerts alone I created a Facebook group here in the UK called "Backstreet Brits". Now over 1,000 strong I've made so many friends because of it and I'm really proud that it has brought people together. Groups of us were able to meet for pre-concert dinner before last year's UK shows. We are spending our quarantine sharing stories, memories, videos and photos. We've even arranged some video chats - and I've made friends with people I've never met! I'm so proud of Backstreet Brits and gutted I didn't even tell the boys about the group when I did my meet and greet in Vegas in April 2019.

First off, let me start by saying I love you Backstreet Boys! When I was growing up, my mother and sister would play your albums on repeat in the house. I’ve been a fan ever since. Your music just makes me feel good. My favorite song of yours is Shape of My Heart. I had the privilege of seeing you guys live twice. Once in 2014 and then just this past September. I saw you in September with my sister in Pittsburgh. It was such an incredible evening. It felt like we were kids again! I recently bought tickets to see you guys again when you come to Burgettstown, PA in July. I am surprsing my mom with a ticket for Mother’s Day. I am hoping that the show will still go on, and the COVID-19 pandemic will have calmed down by then. It will be so special to see you guys with my mother who absolutely adores you! I’m an essential worker (working in retail banking) and I listen to your music throughout the day to keep my spirits up! My co-workers and I dance and sing along all day in between waiting on customers. Thank you BSB for always bringing happiness into my life! :)
Love, Justin.

I'm an essential worker during this crisis. I'm a full time preschool teacher who went from having school closed to working 40+ hours a week at my usually part time job (of 15 hours a week) in a grocery store where I am now shopping online orders for customers and taking them out to cars. On top of working in the grocery store I'm still having to send activities to my preschool families. So I got the double whammy in all of this. Music has helped me through this, listening to some of my favorite Backstreet Boys songs helps me to unwind and destress after a long day. The live-stream with iHeartradio they did was something I didn't know I needed until I watched it. I couldn't stop smiling the whole time and as I watched it I just felt my spirits lift.
